On Friday we bundled into the family wagon and headed to Hobart, a three hour drive south of where we live. The reason behind the trip was to get together with our travel mates from China to celebrate the girls' second birthdays. All the girls turn two between January 2nd and 19th, so we met up in Hobart to have a bit of a party (well, two parties actually!!) and catch up to see how gorgeous all the girls were. We had a marvellous time, and we were all exhausted by the time we got home on Sunday afternoon, but it was just great to see all the girls and to talk to the mums and dads about their experiences. In the photos, the demonic looking clown is actually DS, who asked to have his face painted like Sponge Bob Square Pants. Mmmm, not sure about that one.....

Great photos and it looks like your little sweetie was having a good time. I am so impressed she sat still for the face painting, no was would Emi have done that!
Oh, and I am so totally jealous of sundresses in January. Of course, you say the same thing about us in August. :)
