Yes folks, I am still here and reports of my demise are over-rated. It is simply a matter of me being in winter-time hibernation mode and not having anything of interest to blog about. Its cold, wet and miserable, and I am SO OVER it!! There is light at the end of the tunnel however, as tomorrow marks the first day of the last month of winter. Hurrah!! I rugged up and toddled out into the garden today and was amazed by all the signs of new life that are already blooming, despite the winter chills. I am really looking forward to our tropical Queensland holiday in just over a month's time - roll on sand, sun and miles of warm tropical beaches!!

Great photos, wow! I feel the same way about summer as you do about winter. Actually, I feel the same way about winter too. Basically, I am a spring and fall kind of gal. My perfect spot to live would be 70 year 'round, hahaha!
Cheers,
Kiy
The photos are beautiful! Do you use a macro lens?
You must have very mild winters- everything dies or goes dormant here in Minnesota except the spruce and pines. Not much but brown, white and green between November and May. Cabin fever always sets in my January.
LOL!!! when I saw on bloglines, that you'd only posted once (one of the reg. blogs I follow had 53 posts!) I figured "Hey! Cristina is just as bad as me!!!"
Love your nature photos. The one of that grass stuff with the reddy/brown sprout things is AMAZING! (yes... I'm a horticulturalist, and am incredibly wise when it comes to names of plants!!!)
